Why Can't I Close the Slide-In Panel?

Are you having trouble closing slide-in panels in DivvyHQ? Are you clicking the "X" and nothing is happening? Some users started experiencing this issue in late January/early February of 2022 and through some thorough troubleshooting, we narrowed the issue down to a MS Windows setting.

So if you're experiencing this issue and you're on a Windows device, you may need to adjust a setting. Here's a quick step-by-step:

Step 1

Go to Windows settings by searching for “Settings” in the bottom search bar.

Step 2

From the Settings page, choose “Ease of Access”.

Step 3

You will arrive on the Display page of the Ease of Access settings. Scroll to the bottom and under “Simplify and personalize Windows” turn the switch to "On" under “Show animations in Windows”.

And you're done!

Go back to DivvyHQ and refresh your page. You should now be able to open and close your Slide-Ins without issue going forward.
