Content Request Form Notifications

Modified on Tue, 18 Jun at 6:23 PM

An integral part of this new Content Requests module is the various notifications that will keep both request moderators and requesters updated on the status of content requests. There are two types of notifications built in. If you'd like to adjust which notifications you'd like to receive, feel free to go to My Profile > Notifications and make the necessary adjustments.

1. Notifying Moderators of New Requests

This type of notification is pretty self explanatory... When you create a request form, you choose form admins and moderators. When someone submits a request via that form, those chosen admins and moderators will immediately receive an email notification (example below) with some basic details and a link to review the request.

2. Keeping Requesters Updated on Request Status

In an effort to A) keep requesters updated on the state of their request, and B) eliminate the need for you to manually keep them updated, we've built in automated status notifications that will be sent to the original requester as the status of their requests change.

For example, if I submitted a request and one of the moderators changed the status of my request to "Reviewed", I would get the notification shown below.

Logged-in Divvy users who submit requests can also see a list of their own request submissions via our My Submissions view.
