Image Conversion Profiles allow your end users to choose from different file types when exporting images from a Tempo template. CHILI starts by creating all exports as a PDF. It then uses the Image Conversion Profiles you set to convert to a JPG or PNG. This guide will walk you through setting up and managing these image profiles - giving your users flexible and seamless image export options. This guide will walk you through setting up and managing these profiles to give users flexible export options like JPEGs or PNGs.
From the CHILI BackOffice, navigate to the Settings tab. Under the Export Settings column, you'll see an option for Image Conversion Profiles—this is where you can define the image file types (JPEG and PNG) your end users can export.
If you've already set up image conversion options, they’ll appear here. If you need to create a new profile, select the Add New button.
Give your new profile a descriptive name, such as “Low-Res JPEG,” to specify its purpose. Hit Add to create the profile.
Once your new profile is added, you can define the specific settings for that profile:
- File Type: Choose whether the image should be exported as a JPEG or PNG.
- Resolution: Set the appropriate resolution for the image, ensuring it's suitable for the end user’s needs (e.g., lower resolution for web images, higher resolution for print).
Save Changes when your updates are complete.
After configuring the settings, your new Image Conversion Profile will be ready for end users to select when exporting images from the Tempo template.
