Assets can be downloaded in their original size but Lytho offers a way to define download presets for your assets. With these presets a user can download assets in the right dimensions, for the right purposes. When downloading an asset, users can see the dimensions, Dots Per Inch (DPI) and the title of a preset, so they can choose the correct file size.

From your Settings sub-navigation, select PRESETS to access and manage your preset settings.

Within the Download settings tab you can create and manage download presets. Click the Add button in the top right corner of your screen to create a new preset.

Create a name for your preset, enter the dimensions, and select a file type from the dropdown menu. Click Save when complete.

Edit or delete a preset an any time using the actions menu to the right of the appropriate preset.

When a user selects the "Download" icon on an image asset, they'll have the ability to select from the created preset options.

Assets can be cropped to any custom width and height but with the cropper presets users can select a preset width and height from a drop-down list.

Job Options

Job options are recommended pdf-settings defined by a commercial printer or print service provider saved in a .joboptions-file. With these files, your pdf files will be created to meet specific requirements. You can create these files with Adobe InDesign, add them on this settings page, and assign them to your pdf outputs in Create & Publish.

Ask your printing office for the correct job options you need to meet their press requirements so you will get the best result.

Navigate to the Job options tab in PRESETS to access your job options.

Click the Upload a print option file button in the top right corner of your screen and upload a new job options file from your local files. If uploaded successfully it will appear next to the others in the list. All listed job options will be available when setting up a template in Lytho.
