TABLE OF CONTENTS
Creating a Barcode Type
From the CHILI BackOffice, navigate to the Settings tab. Under the Document Settings column, locate the option for Barcode Types. This is where you can manage the types of barcodes available for your designs, including QR codes.
To create a new QR code type, click Add New.
Choose your barcode type, name your new barcode type and hit Add. You should now see this new barcode type appear in your list.
Add and Configure Your QR Code
To add a QR code to your document, open the CHILI document where you want to add the QR code.
Create a barcode frame by selecting the Create Frame dropdown from within the editor. A blank red box will appear in the upper left-hand corner indicating where the QR code will be placed.
In the Barcode Settings tab that appears, select QR Code from the Type dropdown. This list should match the Barcode Types you configured earlier.
Enter the value for your QR code. This could be a link to your LinkedIn profile, a calendar invite, your company’s website, or any other relevant URL.
Click Apply to generate the QR code.
Now that you have your QR code created, you can move the frame around your document and resize it using the Scale field in the Barcode panel.
