How to combine multiple InDesign input files in a single Lytho template?

Lytho offers the ability to combine multiple InDesign input files in one single Lytho template. This will provide you the ability to create multiple outputs for your promotions/campaigns via 1 template for different channels both online and offline.

Why use a Lytho template with multiple InDesign input files

Most companies create multiple branded content for different channels while launching a new promotion or campaign content for their products or services.

Output channels:

Offline:

-Print (banners, flyers, posters, displays)

-Narrowcasting systems

On line:

-Websites

-Social media

-Apps

At present new content based on briefing by marketing or sales teams will be created each time for each channel by (external) designers. This is a time-consuming process. For example for a new line of products you want to create the following content each time by your design teams:

1-Branded PDF flyers for print and digital which contains all products in one document

2-Branded product offers for social media: for each product, you want to have a single png for Facebook and Instagram

3-Branded product offers for in-store Narrowcasting systems: for each product, you want to have a single jpeg file created

Instead of briefing, emailing, and creating and validating the content each time from beginning to end, now with Lytho you can now let your design teams create 4 InDesign templates only once and reuse them every time you have a new promotion or campaign. In this example there will be InDesign templates for: Flyer format,  Facebook format, Instagram format, and Narrowcasting format). In Lytho one 'new promotion' template can be created by yourself and these 4 InDesign inputs will be added to this template.

Now all your respective marketing, sales, and resellers are able to fill in this template and select the respective (Flyer Facebook offer, Instagram Offer, Narrowcast offer) they want to have available. They are able to fill in the texts, colors, and images online with online preview and workflow capabilities.
